Once again we look forward to remembrance for the week of June 6th 2012 for all those who gave their lives, on the 6th of June, 1944 and beyond.   
      This will be the 68th Anniversary of D-Day. Unfortunately we will not be taking part in any pilgrimage to Normandy this year due to the ever increasing ages of all our D-Day/WWII veterans.  Over the years, organising pilgrimages such as this, it has become more and more difficult for our ageing veterans to cope with journeys like due to their ongoing frailty and mobility issues. We will always remember the date in our thoughts and prayers and to the surviving D-Day and all WWII veterans pay their respects to them personally, as well as take part in various other parades and wreath-layings throughout the year including Armistice Day/Remembrance Sunday on November 11th..
